I am trying to install SQL Server 2012 developer edition on Win 7 Professional editionSP1.(x64) While installing I am getting an error like this:
SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:
There was a failure to calculate the default value of setting INSTANCEID.
Error code 0x85640001.
