HI i am trying to install SQL server 2008 R2 in windows 8.
-> first I have installed with local system account and the installation is completed with erros and i could open "SSMS" but i was not able to connect to data base services.
So i have uninstalled and tried to install with my own windows account but it is giving error as below when i enter my user name and password even though both are correct.
"The credentials you provided for the SQL Server Agent service are invalid. To continue, provide a valid account and password for the SQL Server Agent service."
Please help me to proceed with my installation.
