We have SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise in the environment that has 3 cpu on NUMA configuration. Logical CPU per NUMA is 20. i.e. in total there are 60 logical CPU. Is there a way to identify what should be the MAXDOP configuration?
Suggestion on the microsoft site http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2806535 mentions "It should not exceed certain value". Is there a site that can confirm "It should be this"?
