I am looking for documentation on distributing a configured Server2012 vhdx with SQL2014 installed. This would be to distribute the server component of my Client/server application to my clients on their Windows AD network. I need to upgrade their current SQL 2008 databases and supply a virtual machine ready for deployment at their site(s). I assume SysPrep is involved, but what can I expect to survive with SQL 2104 installed?
