Hi, as the title says, I can't start the Management Studio because it says the evaluation period has expired. The SQL Server 2012 was installed in evaluation "edition" but we later decided to go with the express version and changed the edition. Now a few months later Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio can't start anymore saying that "Evaluation period has expired". I have tried uninstalling Management Studio and installing it again, but it did not help. As we use this server in our production environment I would not be a good solution to reinstall the whole SQL Server 2012 installation.
I have followed a few guides on the web saying that I should change a value in CommonFiles with regedit, but that did not help, and nor does it sound like it have something to do with this problem. What can I do to get this working again?
I have run the Discovery Report and it reports that all products are running the Express Edition. (I have installed the 2008 Management Studio as a temporary solution, but it does not work well.) (I would have added a picture of the report, but I am not allowed to do so for some reason. :-)
