Hi
actually I wanted to install Dynamics, before that the installation of SQL Server was required.
That's where the trouble started.
First I installed SQL Server 2014, installation worked with any errors. Downside was: no matter what I did, the SQL installation center didn't react ony anything (clicking any button, nothing happened)
I decided to uninstall 2014, which worked without a problem. Then I tried to install 2012 SP2 (hoping this works better), but then I had the problem that every installation I tried was performed as an update installation - although there was nothing to update. So I can't do aninitial installation and the update will not work, of course.
I didn't find any traces of an old installation in the system - no SQL server is listed under programs, nothing in the registry found, I deleted the program files.
What can I do to install SQL Server on my Windows Server 2012?
